SUMMARY:July 8: Missouri Symphony Orchestra  - Patriotic Pops Concert
DESCRIPTION:    The Missouri Symphony Orchestra is coming to the Lake of the Ozarks for a special event. The Orchestra will present a Patriotic Pops Concert entitled "Strike up the Band" featuring vocalists Michael Lindeman and Judy Sutherlin at the Cummings auditorium School of the Osage on Sunday, July 8 at 3pm. . The event will feature an ice cream social included in the ticket price of $20 for adults and $10 for students under 18.         The concert is sponsored by the Lake Arts Council. tickets may be purchased at the door beginning at 2:30 PM on July 8, on the Internet at artsattheLake.com and at several local locations including Central-Bank, First National Bank, Paul's supermarket, Hy-Vee Supermarket and Wilson's music in Eldon.    Established in 1970 the Missouri Symphony Orchestra is comprised of musicians from throughout the United States as well as around the world. Each summer the orchestra tours throughout the state, and has dedicated itself to providing musical performances of the highest caliber and educating Central Missouri youth in the area of music.
